Editorial standards

How AcePharm protects the quality of its learning content.

Pharmacy education demands absolute clinical accuracy. Every question, rationale, calculation and AI tutor response is held to clinical, educational and editorial standards before reaching UK pharmacy learners.

1

Clinical accuracy commitment

AcePharm is committed to uncompromising clinical accuracy and patient safety across all revision resources. Scenarios reflect current UK clinical pharmacy practice, and content is revised promptly when MHRA, NICE or BNF guidance or safety alerts change.

AcePharm is a revision resource. Always cross-reference official primary sources, such as the BNF, BNFC, NICE guidance and CKS, before applying anything in practice.

2

Question authoring and review process

No question is ever published directly upon creation. Each question moves through staged editorial review, from draft through clinical review, editorial review and approval, before it is scheduled for publication.

Questions are mapped to the MPharm curriculum categories and test application and evaluation rather than recall alone. Every answer option, including distractors, has an evidence-based rationale.

3

Guideline grounding and citations policy

Explanations and calculations are based on authoritative UK sources, including the BNF, BNFC, NICE guidelines, CKS and MHRA Drug Safety Updates.

Explanations cite specific chapters, guideline paragraphs and tables, so students can check the evidence for themselves.

4

Clinical AI governance and boundaries

Ace answers only from retrieved, human-reviewed AcePharm content. It does not use unverified training data or web scraping, and it cannot publish to the question bank.

Every explanation carries citations, and user feedback goes to the clinical editorial queue. Ace does not give patient-specific advice or prescribing recommendations.

5

Pharmacist review and approval sign-off

Every published item requires explicit sign-off by a qualified UK-registered pharmacist.

6

Statement of independence

AcePharm is an independent revision platform built by UK clinical pharmacists. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, accredited by or partnered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or the Royal College of Pharmacy (formerly the Royal Pharmaceutical Society).

Its materials are not official publications, assessment papers or regulatory guidance.
